Space journey

Start in Earth orbit with the castle already transformed into a rocket. Admire Earth from outside or through the cabin window. The flight completes its orbit, approaches Hong Kong and lands back in the park automatically.

What can I do here?

Look back at Earth through the castle window, follow the curved horizon, and watch the return approach toward Hong Kong. This direct link starts in orbit and skips the walk and launch sequence.

Can I land, walk and deploy a rover?

No. This is an orbit or cruise experience, with no surface walk or rover. Observe the scene from cabin, exterior and overview views.

How do I control the journey and return?

Use the bottom controls to switch views, pause or reset the view. Drive the rover with WASD or arrow keys and hold the left mouse button to look around; touch controls are available on phones.

The Earth orbit journey automatically returns to Hong Kong after its orbit; the journey controls also let you end the experience early.

How do I use the telescope and take photos?

Switch to the rocket cabin and open the telescope. Hold the left mouse button to drag or use WASD to aim. Q zooms out, E zooms in; the wheel and on-screen buttons also work. Press Space or the photo button to capture the current view, then download a PNG or use sharing supported by your device. Esc closes the telescope.

Choose an available celestial body from Track target to keep it centred as it moves, then adjust magnification from 1–100×. A View obstructed message means another body blocks the sightline; tracking does not see through it.

Drag, use WASD or the direction controls, or choose Manual aim to release tracking while keeping the current direction and magnification. Reset telescope restores the initial direction and 1×. Photos work in both tracking and manual modes.

Astronomy background

Earth is a rocky planet with liquid surface water and an atmosphere. The Moon is its natural satellite.

What is fictional?

A castle becoming a rocket, a short orbit and a precise park landing are fictional. The flight is not a real spacecraft trajectory or a view from a live camera.

Are the positions live?

The solar-system overview and navigation map use Astronomy Engine to calculate positions for the date and time captured when the world opens. This fixed snapshot is not continuously refreshed. Display distances are compressed; local terrain, spacecraft routes, cloud patterns and most moon animations are illustrative. Dashboard speed and Earth distance describe the simulated journey, not a real spacecraft.
